Our restaurant is in the volcanic Westman Islands (Vestmannaeyjar) in the south region of Iceland.
Located in an old machinery workshop that used to serve the old shipyard now transformed to a restaurant.
Our cuisine is very seasonal with regional ingridients. We use old methods combined with new techniques and we love working with the nostalgic palate of Icelanders.
We want our diners to experience our passion through our restaurant and sense the time and the place of the Islands.

SLIPPURINN is a family runned restaurant in Vestmannaeyjar, Iceland focusing on Icelandic food and produce.
We love our islands and our community. We forage the island for wild herbs and seaweeds and grow the rest of the herbs we need ourselves. We work closely with small producers, fishermen and farmers to ensure quality and sustainability of what we do.
We also run another restaurant on the island called NÆS 7 days a week from 11.30-late. We recommend booking a table there if SLIPPURINN is either fully booked or closed.
