Hvönn Restaurant is an experimental kitchen where we focus on using local Icelandic ingredients. We source our meat, fish, and vegetables locally and fuse Icelandic and international food traditions from abroad using fermentation techniques (kombucha, lactose fermentation, kefir) and drying methods. These practices give our food a unique and special taste and texture.
Summer opening hours - 11 May - 31 October, every day from 11:30 - 21:00.
During the day, we offer a bistro menu with delicious Icelandic choices, and in the evenings, we serve a distinctive and curated three-course dinner experience that changes nightly. Whether it is for lunch or dinner, we look forward to welcoming you.
