All regular tours and activities are operating as scheduled with the exception of Blue Lagoon visits and Reykjanes tours. The volcanic activity is limited to an area on the Reykjanes peninsula, with no effects on the capital area or other areas in Iceland.

Snowmobile Adventure on Europe´s Largest Glacier, Vatnajökull - Since 1994

Since 1994 we have offered exciting glacier jeep and snowmobile adventure tours on Europe´s largest glacier, Vatnajökull.

First we drive on our Super Jeeps on road F985 towards the glacier and then we continue on our Skidoo snowmobiles where we have breathtaking views of Vatnajökull, Europe´s largest glacier.

Attention
  • Daily departures from Vagnsstaðir hostel at 9.30am and 2pm from March to October
  • Snowmobile drivers need to have a valid car driving license to drive the snowmobile (passengers do not need to have a license).
  • Two people share the same snowmobile, it cost extra to have single snowmobile per.person per.snowmobile.
  • Dress according to weather. We suggest wearing warm outdoor clothing and waterproof clothing on rainy days. 
  • We spend one hour on the glacier. Total duration is three hours.
