Start the day from Reykjavik in a luxury electric Mercedes EQV, You will travel to the Krysuvik volcanic system, there we will make a short stop in Seltun, the geothermal area with many hot springs and colourful mountain sides. Next your journey will take you to the famous Fagradalsfjall volcano just outside of Grindavik, an easy hike of 45 minutes will bring you to the view point, where you can see both the crater the volcano left behind, and the newly formed, still cooling lava field that filled up the valley around it. Your experienced guide will show you the way, and explain to you all about the geological processes that took place in this area just a year ago. You will even have the chance to collect your own souvenir !!
After the hike we will stop for lunch in a nice, local, family owned restaurant in Grindavik where you will have a chance to choose between a variety of Icelandic local dishes ranging from local soups to sandwiches to proper fish meals. Lunch is also the only thing on the tour that is not included in the price.
On the other side of Grindavik, the world famous Blue Lagoon is located, and we will make sure to finish the day with a nice, relaxing bath in it's mystirious waters. You will get a chance to put on a silica facial mask, and benefit from its healing properties, while enjoying a refreshing drink which you can get at the swim up bar. If you wish, you can upgrade your Blue Lagoon experience to the Premium package which includes the use of a bathrobe, additional face masks of your own choice, and a glass of sparkling wine if dining at the Lava restaurant, or to a Retreat Luxury Spa for a complete, full 5h experience of this Icelandic national marvel.
At the end of the day, we will return you back to your hotel.
